How to go from a new workspace to a video posted on schedule, step by step.
1. Create your workspace
Sign up with your work email, confirm it, and set up two-step sign-in: an authenticator app or a passkey. Every account needs it.
Create a workspace for your company and choose where its data is kept. Accept the Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy for the company. The guided first run then walks you through the next steps.
2. Prove you own your domain
Clipwright records only sites you control. On the Domains page, add your domain and prove it with one of three methods: a tag in your home page, a small file on your site, or a DNS record. Choose the one your web person finds easiest; the page shows exactly what to add.
A domain proved by DNS covers its subdomains too.
3. Let Clipwright read your website
On Website, start a read of your verified site. Clipwright visits your public pages (never anything behind a sign-in, a cart or a checkout, and only what robots.txt allows) and writes your fact sheet from them: each claim keeps the words it came from.
Check the fact sheet on the Brand page. Remove anything you don’t stand behind and add the phrases you never want to see. Clipwright reads the site again every week, so new pages become new posts.
4. Turn on autopilot
On Autopilot, an owner or admin turns it on and chooses how long each post waits before it goes out (2 hours by default) and the language of the tours. For each channel choose Off, Review everything, or Automatic, and how many posts a day it gets.
Every post is checked against your fact sheet, your forbidden phrases and the platform’s rules. A post that fails waits for a person in the posting queue. Pause stops every autopilot post at once.
5. Carousels and pictures
On Pictures, make a carousel or a single picture for the feed (4:5) or for TikTok (9:16). Each slide shows one of your pages with a claim from your fact sheet: nothing is invented. Autopilot makes them too, taking turns with videos.
6. Add your product
On the Products page, add your web app's address, then add a sign-in so Clipwright can record it signed in. Install the Clipwright browser extension, sign in to your product as usual, and send the sign-in to Clipwright from the extension: only that site's sign-in is sent, never your password.
Use a demo account with fictional data where you can, and list anything private to blur.
7. Record a tour
On Tours, create a tour and press Record my clicks: click through your product once and the extension writes the steps for you. You can also add and edit steps by hand: go to a page, click, type, hover, highlight, zoom.
Each save makes a new version, so videos always show the steps they were made from.
8. Write the narration and choose a voice
Each step can have a line of narration and a short on-screen label. Write them yourself, or let AI draft them from your Brand page: the claims you stand behind and the words you never use.
Choose a voice by listening to it, or record your own voice line by line after agreeing to how it is used. Narration works in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.
9. Make a video
Choose a language, a voice and the formats you need: 16:9 for YouTube and websites, 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, 4:5 and 1:1 for feeds, and the message clip for WhatsApp and DMs (up to 60 seconds).
Clipwright records the tour on your live site, voices it, adds captions, your brand and music, and checks the result before it is ready. You can follow each stage as it runs.
10. Review
Videos you make yourself wait in Review: a reviewer watches each one and approves it, or rejects it with a note on what to change. Only approved videos can be posted. Autopilot’s posts are checked automatically instead; the ones that fail a check wait for you in the posting queue.
11. Connect your channels
On Channels, an owner or admin connects an account by signing in on the platform's own page. Clipwright stores the access encrypted and uses it only to post what you schedule.
Connecting channels needs a verified company. Disconnect at any time: the access is deleted at once.
12. Post and the posting queue
On an approved video, choose Post this video: the channel, the title and description, then Post now, the next free slot, or a time you choose.
Everything goes through the posting queue, one post at a time, within each platform's limits: posts on one channel are spaced 30 minutes apart, each channel has a daily limit, and some platforms limit how many posts all customers make each day. A chosen time that breaks a rule is caught while you choose it; a post that later has to move moves to the next allowed time, and the queue shows why.
13. Your team and roles
Invite people and give each a role. Owners and admins manage the workspace, products and channels. Editors build tours and narration. Reviewers approve videos and post them. Viewers can look but not change anything.
14. Verification
To keep every account safe, posting needs two checks. The people who approve or post verify their identity once, with a photo ID and a selfie on Stripe's secure page (from your Account page). The company is verified from its official registration.
Until then you can still record tours and make private videos.
15. Plans and billing
Plans differ by how many videos and picture posts you make a month, how many channels you connect, how many autopilot posts each channel gets a day, and how many people you invite. See them on Plan & usage.
In Brazil you pay in reais through Asaas, by PIX, boleto or card: the plan starts when the payment arrives, an upgrade costs only the rest of the month, a downgrade starts when the paid month ends, and cancelling keeps the plan to the end of the month.
16. Your data and privacy
Sessions, tokens and recordings of your voice are encrypted, and each workspace's data is kept apart. Deleting a workspace removes its content for good after 30 days; until then an owner can restore it.
Read the Privacy Policy for the details, or write to us to see or delete your data.
