Questions people ask
- I don't have a website. Can I use it?
- Yes. Tell us what you do, answer the questions that fit your work, add your photos and short videos, and approve the messages written from your answers. A person is verified with their own ID; a company without a website through its registry (Brazil first).
- Do I need a developer?
- No. You prove you own your domain by adding a tag or a file (or a DNS record), add your sign-in from your own browser with the extension, and record a tour by clicking through your product.
- Will the video match my product?
- Yes. It is recorded from your live site, so it shows exactly what your customers see. Clipwright adds only the cursor, highlights, zoom, blur, captions and your brand.
- My classes have students in them. Are they shown?
- No. Clips show only you: everyone else is cropped out and muted, a clip with another face in it isn't made, and recordings and transcripts are deleted 30 days after upload.
- Where can I post?
- YouTube today (posts start as private until Google’s audit). Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok are built and switch on as each platform approves Clipwright. You can always download your videos and post them anywhere.
- Which languages?
- Narration and captions in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French, and the app itself in the same four languages.
- What happens to my data?
- Sessions and tokens are encrypted, each workspace is kept apart, and we never use your content to train AI. Delete a workspace and its content is gone after 30 days.
- Can something be posted without my approval?
- Only if you turn autopilot on. Then a post that passes every check goes out after your window (2 hours unless you change it), and anything that fails a check waits for you. You can make any channel wait for a person, and pause autopilot at once. Autopilot needs a verified company and a verified owner.
